I might as well change the name of this blog to “I LOVE SMOOTHIES” since I am turning into an enthusiast and letting you know all about it. I’m just so excited about this new coffee smoothie I created (so, maybe it is also the caffeine) which is a spin off from my other banana based smoothies. This is sweet, protein packed and it has COFFEE in it, so it is absolutely the perfect pick-me-up when you really need a good kick in the pants!
- 1 frozen banana, microwaved for 30 seconds so you can break it into pieces
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp peanut butter
- small handful of chocolate chips
- 1 cup cold coffee
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and then enjoy your energy burst!
