Is this a pina colada? No, but it might as well be!
It is creamy, and pineapple-y and tastes like it came out of the tropics…and who doesn’t need that this time of year? This is just as easy to make as my blueberry-banana smoothie and is also healthful and nutritious!
- 1 large frozen banana, microwaved for 30 seconds as to remove banana peel
- 1/2 cup frozen diced pineapple
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 oz cube of tofu
- 1/2 cup of milk
Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add extra milk for an even smoother texture.
If you are feeling really wild, I’d imagine that adding rum to this would only make it even more delicious…but also slightly less nutritious.
