I didn’t have a Victoria Secret model flat tummy before I got pregnant, but I certainly didn’t have a determined layer of fat that now seems to have taken residence on my midsection after having our baby girl 12 weeks ago. While I am chipping away at it SLOWLY with light cardio, Pilates and (fingers crossed) with the help of breast-feeding, I am always looking for another way to help with the battle of my bulge. According to some research I’ve done, and more specifically an article I found on www.urbanewomen.com, the best super foods to help burn off belly fat are:
- Peanut Butter
- Yogurt (I prefer the higher-protein Greek yogurt)
- Green Vegetables (broccoli, kale, brussel sprouts)
Luckily I have all of these foods incorporated in to my diet already but its helpful to be aware of their power as a reminder of what I should eat when hunger strikes.
