Sarah’s Fitness Journey: Week 1 Update

I slowly feel like I am getting back into making exercise part of my daily routine which has been feeling really great! I am waking up sore most mornings which is an old but friendly-familiar feeling! Admittedly, it is more difficult some days than others to get in the exercise that I want (depending on the mood of our sweet little girl). Here is what I was able to do this past week:

February 1

We got a colossal snow storm so no going outside for me! Instead I did about 50 minutes of Pilates with Cassy Ho www.blogilates.com using her following videos:

February 2

30 minutes of Sarah Aerobics*

40 minutes of Sarah-Aerobics*

30 minute walk with the dog and baby in the Baby Bjorn

February 5

10 minutes of Sarah-Aerobics (that is all I could fit in before the baby got upset, but every minute counts right?)

Later, my husband and I did this HITT (High intensity interval training) workout:

30 minute walk

*Sarah Aerobics: Aerobic activity to the music of choice (usually Meghan Trainer Pandora radio), alternating squats, lunges, calf raises, jumping jacks, planks and running in place every 30 seconds.
